Individual or couples sessions?
Couples sessions make sense when both partners want to work on the relationship and are willing to attend. Individual sessions suit people whose partner is not ready, who want to understand their own patterns first, or who are deciding whether to stay at all. Some people begin alone and later invite their partner; we can talk through what fits in our reply to your enquiry.
How our therapists work
An integrative, evidence-informed approach: established methods adapted to the person, with cognitive-behavioural techniques where those help. The first session covers what brings you, your history and your goals, and ends with an initial plan you agree together. Where someone also needs medical care, we work alongside doctors and psychiatrists with the client’s consent.
Sessions run Monday to Friday, 09:00–21:00 Athens time, usually weekly at first. Fees, including packages of 4 and 12 sessions, are on the pricing page. In an emergency call 112. In Greece you can also call 1018 (suicide prevention) or 10306 (mental-health support). For helplines in your country, see findahelpline.com.

Frequently asked questions
Before you choose…
What is the difference between therapy and counselling?
The terms overlap a great deal. Counselling usually focuses on a particular difficulty or decision over a shorter period, while psychotherapy tends to explore longer-standing patterns in more depth. Your therapist will suggest what fits after the first session, and you can change course later.
Do you see children?
We work with teenagers from the age of 12 and with adults. For a teenager, a parent or guardian contacts us first. Parents of younger children can have parent counselling for themselves.
Can I start without knowing which service I need?
Yes. Most people simply describe what is going on, and we suggest the best starting point in our reply.
