These terms apply to your use of artofmind.gr, our online booking system sessions.artofmind.gr and the psychotherapy and counselling services of Art of Mind. By using the website, sending us an enquiry or starting sessions, you accept the terms below.
1. Who we are
Art of Mind is a psychotherapy centre in Patras, Greece, founded in 2019 by psychotherapist Matina Ladikou. Sessions in English are provided online by a therapist from our centre.
Korinthou 288, 262 22 Patras, Greece · Email: [email protected] · Phone (questions only): +30 2611 180005 · Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–21:00 Greek time, by appointment.
2. Our services and their limits
- Psychotherapy and counselling do not replace medical or psychiatric care where it is needed. We do not prescribe medication and we do not carry out court or expert assessments.
- Art of Mind is not an emergency service. If your life or someone else’s is in danger, call 112 (EU emergency number) straight away, or the emergency number of the country you are in. In Greece you can also call 166 (ambulance), 1018 (suicide-prevention helpline, in Greek) or 10306 (psychological support line, mainly in Greek). If you are outside Greece, findahelpline.com lists free helplines in your country.
- Every course of therapy is different. We do not guarantee a particular result or number of sessions.
- For anyone under 18, sessions require the consent and involvement of a parent or guardian, who contacts the centre first.
3. Enquiries, arrangements and payment
Sessions in English are arranged by enquiry: you send us the enquiry form or an email, and we reply with a therapist, available days and times and the next steps. We do not take bookings by phone; the phone line is for questions.
Your sessions are confirmed in writing (by email) before the first session, together with the fee, which is shown on our pricing page. Fees include Greek VAT. Payment is made online in advance; card payments are processed by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number. You receive an electronic receipt by email. Our services are private and self-funded; they are not reimbursed by public health systems or insurers unless your own insurer agrees to do so.
4. Rescheduling, cancellations and refunds
Rescheduling. You can move a session to another day and time free of charge up to 24 hours before it starts.
Cancellation. To cancel, please contact the centre at [email protected] or +30 2611 180005. Paid sessions are not refunded, but if you let us know at least 24 hours in advance they can be moved to another day and time.
Less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show. The session counts as held and is neither refunded nor moved, because the time was reserved for you. In an emergency (for example a sudden health problem), contact us and we will look at it together.
If we cancel. If the centre has to cancel a session, or it cannot take place because of a technical problem on our side, we offer you a new day and time free of charge; if none suits you, we refund the full price of that session.
Session packages. Packages are valid for the period stated on our pricing page. The same rescheduling and cancellation rules apply to every session in a package. Sessions not used by the end of the package are not carried over or refunded.
Right of withdrawal. If you buy online, you can withdraw within 14 days of payment, without giving a reason, for sessions that have not yet taken place (and for unused sessions in a package). Contact us and we will refund the corresponding amount. A session that has already taken place cannot be refunded.
Your rights. These terms do not limit the rights you have under consumer-protection law.
5. Online sessions
Online sessions take place on Google Meet and are not recorded. Please make sure you have a stable connection and a quiet, private space. Session times are agreed in Greek time; we will confirm the time in your own time zone by email.
6. Where the service is provided and applicable law
Our services are provided from Greece, by therapists working in Greece, under Greek law and the professional rules that apply to them there. If you live outside Greece, you are choosing to receive a service from a provider based in Greece. These terms are governed by Greek law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live.
